Aschaffenburg, Page win titles at CBB meet

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Colby College junior Matt Aschaffenburg was the top male finisher and teammate Jackie Page earned top honors among the women at the CBB (Colby-Bates-Bowdoin) Golf Tournament on Sunday.

Aschaffenburg carded a 75 to take medallist honors among the 21 male golfers. Page had a 97 to win in a field of three.

Colby finished with a team score of 447 to place behind winner Bowdoin (400) and Bates (414). The top five golfers of the seven players entered counted in the team score.

Other Colby scores included: Matt Wahl (89), David Salmon (91), Josh Gerber (96), Eric Legere (96), Chris Johnson (97), and Brian Klonoski (113).

The Mules will host the Colby Classic this Saturday at noon at Waterville Country Club.
