Golf team 10th at Maine meet

PORTLAND, Maine -- Matt Aschaffenburg carded an 82 for the Colby College golf team at the 2004 Maine Intercollegiate Golf Championship at Riverside Golf Course on Friday.

The Mules finished in a tie for 10th place in the 14-team field.

Eric Legere had a 39 on the front nine and had a finishing score of 85 for Colby. David Salmon shot an 87, Matt Wahl was at 89, and Nick Spillane had a 90 for the Mules.

Saint Joseph's College won the meet and had the low score of the day from Joe Manganaro, who had a 33 on the front nine and shot a 68.
