WATERVILLE, Maine --- First-year forward Josh Reber (Taft School/Edina, Minn.) had three goals and one assist to help Colby College head coach Jim Tortorella win his 150th career game with the Mules and lead the way to a 5-2 victory over Williams College at Alfond Arena on Friday night. Tortorella, in his 10th season with the Mules, improved his career record to 150-70-19. Three first-year players scored the five goals to give Tortorella his milestone win.

After Williams (4-7-1, 4-3-0) tied the game at 2-2 in the third period, Colby scored the final three goals of the game to pull away in improving to 8-2-1 overall and 6-2 in the league.

Reber scored the game-winning goal off an assist from captain Patrick Walsh (Choate Rosemary Hall/Easton, Conn.) at 7:53 of the third period. Reber tallied again at 13:36 for an insurance goal and first-year forward T.J. Kelley (Taft School/Ridgefield, Conn.) added the final goal at 14:15. Williams opened the scoring in the first period at 4:30 on a goal by Jim Canner (Deerfield/Wyomissing, Pa.). The Mules tied it at 1-1 at intermission when first-year defensemen Arthur Fritch (St. Sebastian's/South Boston, Mass.) scored.

Reber got his first goal of the game at 16:16 of the second period for the only goal in the middle period.
