Colby men's hockey blanks Castleton State

CASTLETON, Vt. --- Nick Bayley moved into eighth on Colby College's all-time scoring list for men's hockey in leading the Mules to a 10-0 romp over Castleton State on Saturday.

Bayley had three goals and two assists to put his career totals at 51 goals and 75 assists for 126 points. He leads the Mules (4-1) this year with six goals and seven assists for 13 points.

Greg Osborne added four goals for Colby. Cory Ernst had two goals and one assist, while Jason Weigel had one goal and one assist. Joel Morash, Josh Reber and Arthur Fritch all had two assists. Jared Gordon, Joe Rothwell, Todd O'Hara and Ryan Chrenek each had one assist.

Chris Ries made four saves in the opening 30:32 of the contest for Colby. Ben Grandjean stopped 12 shots in the final 29:28 for the Mules.
