COLBY MEN'S HOCKEY BLANKS ST. MICHAEL'S

Cory Ernst had three goals and one assist and Nick Bayley finished with two goals and two assists as the Colby men's hockey team cruised to a 9-0 victory at Saint Michael's College on Saturday.

Joel Morash added one goal and one assist for the Mules (12-5-1), who scored three goals in each period. Joe Rothwell and Barry Brown contributed two assists apiece. Jared Gordon, T.J. Kelley and Mike Butler also tallied for the winners. Todd O'Hara, Arthur Fritch, Eric Molander, Ryan Chrenek and Josh Reber all had one assist.

Ben Grandjean made 30 saves in earning the shutout for Colby.
