Colby men's lacrosse defeats New England College
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Ryan Scott (Columbia, N.J.) had three goals and one assist and Rob Dudley (New Cannan, Conn.) added four assists in leading the Colby College men's lacrosse team to an 8-1 non-conference win over New England College on Tuesday night at Bill Alfond Field.
Colby (2-6) led 3-0 after the first quarter to take command. New England College (5-3) stayed in the game early behind 23 saves from goaltender Tyler Prudden (Andover, Mass.).
Zach Goodnough (Brunswick, Maine) added two goals for the Mules. Dan Schupack (Cheshire, Conn.), Adam Kirk (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and Drew Piekarski (East Sandwich, Mass.) also had goals for Colby.
Jeff Miller (Marshfield, Mass.) made 10 saves in goal for Colby.
The Mules play at Tufts University at 1 p.m. Saturday.
