Wesleyan takes regular season finale win over Colby
WATERVILLE, Maine -- Chris Jasinski (Wilton, Conn.) had one goal and three assists in lifting Wesleyan University to a 12-6 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's lacrosse Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.
Wesleyan (10-4, 5-4 NESCAC) is the fourth seed and will host fifth-seeded Tufts at 1 p.m. Sunday in a NESCAC quarterfinal playoff game.
Mike Vitulano (Fairfield, Conn.) and Mike Hines (Newburyport, Mass.) both had three goals for Wesleyan, which led 5-1 at halftime. Chris Meade (Ocean Beach, N.Y.) had one goal and two assists, while Glenn Adams (Norwalk, Conn.) dished three assists.
Eric Seidel (Durham, N.H.), in his final game at Colby, had two goals and two assists. Tim Brown (Manchester, Mass.) added one goal and one assist for the Mules (3-11, 0-9).
