Williams men's soccer stops Colby
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Schuyler Riggs scored two first-half goals and that stood up as the Williams College men's soccer team took a 2-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.
Riggs scored in the 23rd minute and added his second goal late in the opening half.
Nicholas Armington (Wenham, Mass.) had six saves for the Williams (7-2-1, 5-1 NESCAC) shutout. Brian Davidson (Loomis Chaffee/Needham, Mass.) stopped eight shots for Colby (3-4-2, 1-4-1).
