Colby men's soccer beats Trinity in NESCAC match
HARTFORD, Conn.- First-year midfielder Will Kinder (Wilbraham, Mass.) scored in the 27th minute to give his team the lead for good as the visiting Colby College Mules posted a 3-1 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's soccer action Saturday.
Trinity drops to 0-4-2 overall and 0-3 in the NESCAC, while the Mules improve to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the league with their second win in three days.
Kinder scored off an assist from James Pilgrim (Baltimore, Md.). The Mules went up 2-0 at halftime when Brian Kasarjian (Plymouth, Mass.) tallied at 41:50 off an assist from Brian Kelly (Milford, Mass.).
Trinity forward Rob Bialobrzeski (Hampton, N.H.) scored for Trinity at 79:30 of the second half, but Colby got an insurance goal from Daniel Kiernan (Brookline, Mass.) off another assist from Kelly.
Colby senior Brian Davidson (Needham, Mass.) made six saves.
