Colby volleyball defeats UNE, 3-1

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Megan Devlin (Branford, Conn.) had 18 kills and 33 defensive digs in leading Colby College's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over University of New England in non-conference play Wednesday night at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

Colby improved to 10-4 in taking the 32-30, 29-31, 30-19, 30-25 win. UNE fell to 4-5.

Cait Cleaver (Kennett Square, Pa.) added 17 kills and 29 digs for Colby. Kaitlin Adams (Athol, Mass.) finished with 13 kills, while Mariah Daly (Baltimore, Md.) had 10 kills and five blocks. Cassie Sancartier (Haverhill, Mass.) had 48 assists, Kendall Kirby (Piedmont, Calif.) had 23 digs, and Julie Hike (Falmouth, Mass.) added six blocks.

Michelle Clark (Salem, Mass.) had 16 kills and five blocks for UNE. Kelsey Walton (Meredith, N.H.) dished 34 assists, while Rachel Seawards (Rollinsford, N.H.) had 27 digs and eight kills.
