SAINT JOSEPH'S WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATS COLBY
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Kaylin Regula (Windham/Windham, Maine) had a
game-high 23 points on 9-for-12 shooting to lead the Saint Joseph's College
women's basketball team to a 71-58 non-conference win against Colby College
at Wadsworth Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Margaret Blauvelt (Mount Blue/Dixfield, Maine) had all 16 of her points in
the first half and added 10 rebounds for the Monks (7-5). St. Joseph's also
received 13 points on 4-for-4 shooting, eight assists, six rebounds and
four steals from Megan Tetrault (Deering/Portland, Maine).
St. Joseph's, which led 33-31 at halftime, shot 49 percent from the field
while holding the Mules (5-9) to just 34 percent shooting.
Katie McCabe (Taft School/Watertown, Conn.) had 18 points and four steals
for Colby. Wendy Bonner (Lexington/Lexington, Mass.) finished with 13
points and nine rebounds while playing just 22 minutes because of foul
problems. Regina Wohl had eight points and four assists.
