Colby women's basketball defeats Newbury

BROOKLINE, Mass. --- Wendy Bonner had 18 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Colby College women's basketball team to a big second half on the way to a 68-50 win against Newbury College on Tuesday night.

Katie McCabe added 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists for the Mules (6-15). Kate Riley had one of her best games in a Colby uniform with 11 points, five rebounds and three assists. Regina Wohl added 10 points and eight boards for the winners.

The two teams were tied 23-23 at halftime, but the Mules exploded for 45 points in the second half.
