Connecticut College earns win over Colby in women's soccer
Waterville, Maine --- Connecticut College goalkeeper Kate Simmons
(Gettysburg College/Altamont, N.Y.) earned the shutout and the Camels
scored a goal in each half in a 2-0 victory over Colby College in New
England Small College Athletic Conference women's soccer Saturday.
Simmons stopped six shots for the Camels (7-5, 3-4). Colby fell to 6-5-1
overall and 2-5-1 in conference play.
Rachael Schefrin (Alexander Dawson/Boulder, Colo.) scored in the first half
and Maggie Driscoll (Peabody/Peabody, Mass.) added an insurance goal in the
second half.
Elizabeth Riley (Thornton Academy/Saco, Maine) stopped 13 shots for Colby.
