Williamson named to NESCAC all-conference team

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College forward Laura Williamson (Kingswood Oxford/Manchester, Conn.) was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference second team for the second straight year in women's soccer.

Williamson, a sophomore, was the NESCAC Rookie of the Year in 2003.

Williamson led the Mules in scoring this year with 10 goals and one assist for 21 points. She had 14 goals and seven assists in her first season. Williamson has 24 goals and eight assists for 56 career points.

In the latest NESCAC statistics, Williamson ranks third in points per game (1.50) and goals per game (0.71).

Colby finished 7-5-2 in 2004.
