Colby women's squash wins and loses at national meet

PRINCETON, N.J. ---- The 12th-ranked Colby College women's squash team fell 7-2 to 11th-ranked Amherst College on Friday and then came back for a 5-4 victory over 14th-ranked William Smith College on Saturday in the Kurtz Cup bracket of the National Team Championships.

Colby is playing in the bracket among teams ranked ninth to 16th in the country.

The Mules won all five matches from positions three to seven. Julia Benedict, Nina Delano, Nikki Patel, Rachel Luskin and Jenny Abramson won matches against William Smith.

Benedict and Luskin earned the wins for Colby against Amherst.
