Trinity Christian baseball takes win over Colby
FORT MYERS, Fla. --- Trinity Christian had 24 hits and scored nine runs in the final three innings to pull away for a 19-9 victory over Colby College in baseball on Tuesday in Florida.
The Mules (3-2) and Trinity Christian (14-4) were tied 5-5 after three innings, but the winners had five runs in the next two innings before pulling away.
Tyler Hales and Craig Cooper each had two hits and two RBI for Colby. John Murphy, Jon Vacca and Steve Sandak also had two hits for the Mules.
Colby meets St. Olaf College at noon Wednesday.
