Conn. College field hockey edges Colby, 2-1
NEW LONDON, Conn. -- ĘSophomore Alex Albright (Wilmington, Del.) tallied a
first half score and assisted on the game-winner, leading Connecticut
College (7-5, 3-4) to a 2-1 victory over Colby College (4-7, 1-7) in NESCAC
field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Jill Mauer (Millbrook, N.Y.) netted the game-winner for the
Camels, who have won four of their last five games. Jennifer Reilly (York
Harbor, Maine) put one in with nine seconds remaining for Colby's lone
score of the day.
Ashley Kenerson (Wenham, Mass.) made four saves for the Camels. Jamie Enos
(South Hamilton, Mass.) stopped nine shots for Colby, keeping her team in
the game with an admiral performance in net.
