Colby men's basketball beats Newbury behind Cohen, Farrell

BROOKLINE, Mass. --- Drew Cohen finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, six blocked shots and three assists in leading the Colby College men's basketball team to a 60-51 win over Newbury College in the final regular season game of the season on Tuesday night.

The Mules (11-13) are the seventh seed and will play at second-seeded Trinity College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Saturday at 3 p.m.

Nick Farrell added 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals for Colby, which shot 52 percent (15-for-29) in the second half. Jon Bandi chipped in with 11 points, Mackenzie Simpson had seven points and Nate Dick ripped down seven rebounds.
