Colby men's hockey stays unbeaten at 6-0
WATERVILLE, Maine --- The 13th-ranked Colby College men's hockey team made it six straight wins to start the season with a 7-1 victory over Castleton State at Alfond Rink on Friday.
Joe Rothwell and Patrick Rutherford both had two goals for Colby (6-0), which plays host to Skidmore College at 4 p.m. Saturday. Mike Butler added one goal and one assist, while T.J. Kelley, Arthur Fritch and Josh Reber all had two assists. Ryan Chrenek and Todd O'Hara also tallied for the Mules.
Jeff Weaver had the lone goal for Castleton State (1-2-1).
Dean Feole earned a victory in goal in his first collegiate start for Colby while making 21 saves. Jeff Swanson stopped 33 shots for the Spartans.
