Williams men's lacrosse stops Colby in Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- Williams College scored the final five goals of the game to pull away for a 13-6 victory over Colby College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference men's lacrosse game at Colorado College on Tuesday.

The Mules (2-3) led 3-1 early in the game and only trailed 8-6 with 10:55 left after Rory Murphy scored.

Murphy had two goals and Tim Brown scored once and dished one assist for Colby. Caddy Brooks, Todd Boertzel and Ryan Scott also scored for the Mules.

Jeff Miller was credited with 14 saves for Colby, which plays at Amherst College this Saturday at 1 p.m.
