Men's lacrosse player Brooks earns NESCAC Rookie of the Year honor

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College attacker Caddy Brooks (Salisbury School/Darien, Conn.) was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year for men's lacrosse on Wednesday.

Brooks gave the Mules some offensive punch with 24 goals and a team-best 14 assists for 38 points to tie for the team lead in scoring. He ranked in a tie for eighth in the NESCAC in points per game (2.71) and was tied for 10th in goals per game (1.71). Brooks also led the Mules in game-winning goals (2) and ground balls (47).

Brooks helped the Mules improve by three wins over last season in a 6-8 year.
