Colby men's soccer takes 1-0 win over St. Joseph's

STANDISH, Maine ­ Matt Shatkin (Brookline, Mass.) scored his first collegiate goal off an assist from Daniel Kiernan (Brookline, Mass.) to lift the Colby College men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph's College in non-league play Wednesday.

Shatkin scored in the 85th minutes for the Mules (5-5), who had 20 shots in the game.

Colby plays host to Amherst College at 11 a.m. Saturday.
