Second half goal leads Tufts men's soccer past Colby
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Bob Kastoff (Kingswood-Oxford/Avon, Conn.) scored 8:15 into the second half and that goal stood up as Tufts University took a
1-0 victory over Colby College in the New England Small College Athletic Conference opener for both teams Saturday.
Kastoff scored off an assist from Mattia Chason (Lycee Chauteaubriand/Rome,
Italy) after the teams played to a scoreless tie in the opening half.
First-year goaltender Brian Dulmovits (Sayville/Sayville, N.Y.) had six
saves to earn the shutout in his first collegiate start for Tufts (1-0, 1-0
NESCAC). Josh Kahane (Newton North/Newton, Mass.) stopped five shots for
Colby (0-1, 0-1).
