Bowdoin squash teams take wins over Mules

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- The Bowdoin College squash teams both took 7-2 victories over Colby College on Wednesday night.

The Colby men (8-5) received wins from Ryan Maher at the fourth spot and Andy Carr at the ninth position. While Carr won 3-0 by easy scores, Maher lost the first game and took a 10-9 win in the second game before cruising 9-2, 9-2 in the final two games to take the match.

For the Colby women (4-4), Emilie Slack won in four games at the second spot and Catherine Monrad took the sixth position match in a come-from-behind five-game match. McKenna won 9-3, 9-3, 8-10, 9-7 over Emilie McKenna. Monrad lost 9-1 in the first game, took the second game 9-6 and then fell 9-6 in the third game. She then won 10-8 and 9-6 in the final two games.
