Bates squash teams get wins over Colby

LEWISTON, Maine -- Nate Stone and Andy Carr both earned victories, but the Colby College men's squash team fell 7-2 to Bates College on Thursday night.

The Bates women took a 9-0 victory over Colby.

Stone split his first two games at the seventh position match and then won the key third game by a 10-9 scores. Stone finished up the match with a 9-5 win in the fourth game. Carr won the first two games at the ninth spot, lost the third game and then won a tight 9-7 game to close out his match.
