WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's swimming and diving team had five swimmers earn All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors and the men's team had one for top-three finishes in the league meet.
Kelly Norsworthy (Miss Porter's School/West Hartford, Conn.), Kelsey Potdevin (Juneau-Douglas/Juneau, Alaska), Courtney Chilcotte (Hawken School/Pepper Pike, Ohio), Maddie Given (Convent of the Visitation/White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Meg Vallaly (Lake Forest/Lake Forest, Ill.) earned honors for the Colby women. Jabez Dewey (Worcester Academy/Worcester, Mass.) was the Colby male on the team.
Norsworthy won two NESCAC titles, finished second in another race and led two relay squads to top three finishes. She has earned 10 NESCAC All-Conference honors in her two years at Colby. Norsworthy was named Eastern College Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for her performance.
The Colby sophomore won the 200 breaststroke in 2:20.21 and took the 50 breaststroke in a pool record clocking of 29.15. Norsworthy's performance in the 100 breaststroke was just as impressive despite finishing in second place in 1:03.41. She had one of the fastest times in the history of the event.
First-year swimmer Kelsey Potdevin was the other Colby individual champion with a victory in the 50 backstroke (27.82).

For the Colby men, Dewey was second in the 50 backstroke in 24.08 to earn All-NESCAC honors for the third straight year in the event.
