Foster fourth in weight throw at Open New England Track Meet

BOSTON --- Colby College's Jason Foster had a toss of 58 feet, 1.25 inches in the weight throw to finish in fourth place at the Open New England Championships at Boston University during the Friday and Saturday meet. Foster was second among Division III throwers behind winner Uzoma Orji (64-7.75) of MIT.

Colby's men's distance medley relay team finished in 10th place in 10:29.43. For the Colby women, Karen Prisby was eighth in the 5,000-meter run in 17:43.81 and Liz Turner took 13th in 18:02.08.

The women's distance medley relay team of Liz Petit (1,200 meters), Erin Beasley (400), Devan FitzPatrick (800) and Jess Minty (mile) took sixth place in 12:09.31.
