Foster second in weight throw; women's relay takes third

NEW HAVEN, Conn. --- Jason Foster finished in second place in the weight throw for the Colby College men's indoor track team at the Trinity College Last Chance Meet.

Foster had a throw of 57 feet, 2 inches in the meet held at Yale University. Dan Vassallo took sixth place in the 5,000-meter run in 15:13.36.

For the Colby women, the team of Elizabeth Petit (1,200 meters), Erin Beasley (400), Devin FitzPatrick (800) and Anna King (1,600) took third place in the distance medley relay in 12:12.84.

Brianna Kondrat was fifth in the shot put at 35-6, while Emilie Coulson took sixth in the high jump at 5-0.25.
