Colby volleyball at 8-0 after win over Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Colby College women's volleyball team stayed unbeaten on the season, taking a 3-1 (30-21, 28-30, 30-18, 30-26) victory atBowdoin on Wednesday evening.

The Mules improve to 8-0, while the Polar Bears fall to 4-3.

Colby's Cait Cleaver led the attack for the Mules, collecting a game-high 13 kills. Jenny Lawrence had 34 assists, while Julie Hike added four blocks for Colby.

Bowdoin was led by 11 kills from Kelly Bougere. Ellie Simon posted a game-high seven blocks, while Margo Linton dished out 38 assists.

Colby will return to action on Friday at the MIT Invitational. The Mules play the first of two matches on Friday against Endicott College at 6 p.m.
