Colby women's soccer, field hockey games called off

WATERVILLE, Maine --- The women’s soccer game between Colby College and the University of Southern Maine and the field hockey game with Colby and Thomas College were both cancelled on Tuesday because of the heavy rains.

With the regular season quickly coming to a close, these games will not be made up.

Colby women’s soccer finishes the regular season Saturday at home against Bates College at 11 a.m. The Mules (7-2-3) will then play a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Sunday against an opponent and at a site and time to be determined.

Colby field hockey is scheduled to play St. Joseph’s in a non-conference game Wednesday at Bill Alfond Field at 4 p.m. Colby then takes on Bates at 11 a.m. Saturday.
