FARMINGTON, Maine --- Laura Williamson scored her second goal of the game with just 2:29 remaining in the contest to lift the Colby College women's soccer team to a 3-1 win against University of Maine at Farmington on Wednesday.

Williamson, a junior, moved into third place on Colby's all-time scoring list after her second big game in a row. She had one goal and one assist in a 2-0 season-opening win against Tufts University. Williamson has 27 goals and nine assists for 63 career points in moving past Shannon Tracy '97 (61 points) for third place.

Maine-Farmington went up 1-0 on a penalty kick by Olivia Irons at 18:46 of the first half. However, Williamson tied the game at 1-1 just 54 seconds later to make it 1-1 at intermission.

After Williamson's second goal, Libba Cox added an insurance goal with 48 seconds remaining.
