Colby golf team opens season at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Jack Peet shot an 84 on the second day and had the best finish for the Colby College golf team at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

Peet had rounds of 88 and 84 for a 172 total. John Wagner also had an 88 on the first day and an 87 the following day for a 175 finish. Sam Rouleau (89, 88 --- 177) and Andrew Herchek (96, 93 --- 189) were other top finishers for Colby.

Colby had a team score of 713 over two days. Hamilton won the tourney with a 604.
