Westhafer's goal lifts Colby men's soccer past Trinity, 1-0

HARTFORD, Conn. ---- James Westhafer (Malvern, Pa.) picked the perfect time to score his first collegiate goal as the Colby College men's soccer team took a 1-0 victory at Trinity College on Saturday in New England Small College Athletic Conference play. Westhafer, a first-year player, tallied in the 89th minute after Trinity (0-5, 0-4 NESCAC) failed to clear the ball on a long throw into the middle.

Colby moved to 1-1-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the conference. The Mules play a non-conference game at University of Southern Maine this Wednesday at 4 p.m. and then host Middlebury College next Saturday in a league contest at 1:30 p.m.
