Mark Godomsky, who headed the alpine program from 1991-93, returned in the fall of 1994 as the Head Coach. Godomsky was an instrumental leader in drafting the proposal to elevate Colby Skiing to its current Division I status. A standout junior skier while at Carrabassett Valley Academy at Sugarloaf/USA, Godomsky earned a degree in Biology from Bates College in 1991. At Bates he served as Assistant Ski Coach during his senior year before taking over Colby's program. In between his Colby stints, Godomsky served as Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Program Director at Carrabassett Valley Academy.
