The Mules broke out of a midseason slump on Wednesday with a 14-2 victory at U-Maine Farmington. Leading the way for Colby offensivley was Tom Wilson '05 who was 2-2 with 4 RBI's and a double and Kevin Brunelle '03 with a 2-3 day at the plate, 3 RBI's, two doubles and a stolen base. Daniel Deacon '03 also had two RBI's on the day. Picking up the win for the Mules was Kevin Presbrey '03, and the Mules also got solid performances on the mound from Matthew Gibson '03, Matthew Simard '02 and Michael Civitello '05. Brunelle currently leads the team with a .387 average, followed by Jon Lord '02 at .366 and Simard at .338. Simard tops the Mules with 16 RBI, then B.L. Lippert '04 with 15, and Lord and Brunelle with 13 apiece. Lord and Lippert are tied for the team lead with three home runs apiece.
