In the championship game, Colby faced a Xavier squad that was in Division I and consisted of eleven scholarship players. The Mules fought hard and stayed with Xavier at halftime only being down three. Colby was able to keep it close until about the twelve minute mark of the second half, when Xaiver was finally able to push the lead to double digits. Leading the way was Sarah Walsh who had twelve points, ten rebounds, and two steals. Both Bianca Belcher and Katy Lawson chipped in with nine points respectively. Alyssa Henley also contributed with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals.
