Greely High School Clinic 2005

On Saturday, November 19, in between games of the 2005 Colby Tip-Off Tournament, the Colby women's basketball team held a free, youth clinic at Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine. Members of the Colby women's team, along with assistant coach Matt Sidhom, instructed the girls in drills, stretching and fundamentals for approximately three hours.

"It is important for our players to be positive role models and be active ambassadors for Colby and the game of basketball," said head coach Lori McBride. "It was an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved."

Thanksgiving Clinic 2005

Over the Thanksgiving break, the Colby College women's basketball team hosted a clinic for 60 area boys and girls at Wadsworth Gymnasium. The clinic was a rousing success and was the first step in the program's initiative to become an active and important part of the local community. Below are some photos from the two-day event.
