Deb Aitken, Head Coach
Deb Aitken begins her 16th season on Mayflower Hill as head coach of the women's cross country and track and field programs. During her tenure at Colby, the Skowhegan, Maine-native has led the White Mules to state, regional and NESCAC honors. She has coached nine individual runners to national competition, and they have earned eleven All-America honors. Coach Aitken led her teams to national competition in '93, '94 and '96, placing 12th, 10th and 14th, respectively. A graduate of Plymouth State College, Aitken earned a masteršs degree in education from Frostburg State in Maryland. Before coming to Colby in 1984, she coached at SUNY-Cortland for six years.
