Colby Field Hockey Losses Close Game to Gordon, 1-0

The Colby College women's field hockey team (3-5) lost to Gordon College (7-3), at Gordon, 1-0.

The lone goal of the game was scored by Gordon's Tenny Mentus with 2:13 remaining in the first period. The Mules' Linsay Peters (03, Freeport, Me) led the team with four shots on goal. Colby teammates Sarah Brown (02, Vassalboro, Me), Jenn Brenneman (03, Denver, Co), and Marcia Ingraham (02, Georgetown, Ma) each had three shots on goal. Colby goalkeeper Jane Stevens (01, Chevy Chase, Md) recored 10 saves while playing 64 minutes of the game.
