Heidi Godomsky, Head Coach
Heidi Godomsky enters her ninth season as Colby's head field hockey coach in 2004-05 after missing the last three years, two due to maternity leave and the other a sabbatical. Godomsky took over the program following a 2-10 1992 season. In her first year, Colby went 7-7 and in 1999 she led the Mules to their first-ever ECAC playoff berth in field hockey. Godomsky is entering her 11th season as the head coach of the women's lacrosse team in 2003-04. Colby's women's lacrosse team was ranked in the national top 20 the last few seasons. Godomsky earned a bachelor's degree in government in 1991 from The College of William and Mary, where she was a four-year member of William and Mary's NCAA Division I lacrosse team and played field hockey. Godomsky's coaching career began at Trinity College, where she was an assistant field hockey and lacrosse coach. While at Trinity, Godomsky earned a master's degree in history.

Marcia Ingraham, Assistant Coach
One of the top players in Colby field hockey and lacrosse history, Marcia Ingraham will be the interim head coach for the 2003 season after being an assistant coach with the Mules last year.
Ingraham is the all-time leader in Colby field hockey history with 29 career defensive saves. A member of the Colby Class of 2002, Ingraham started all 59 games in which she played and ended her career with 29 goals and six assists for 64 points.
Ingraham was a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Regional All-America selection after her senior season. She also played in the NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Team and was a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) first-team all-star.
The Colby most valuable player the last two years for field hockey, Ingraham earned Regional All-America honors in three of her four years.
Ingraham was a two-time All-America selection as a lacrosse player. She earned second team honors as a senior and was on the third team after her junior year. Ingraham, a three-time Regional All-America selection, finished second all-time in scoring with 146 goals and 55 assists for 201 points.
Ingraham, who played in the STX North/South Senior All-Star lacrosse game, will also be an assistant coach for head coach Heidi Godomsky and the women's lacrosse team for the second straight year in the spring of 2004.
