Heidi Godomsky begins her sixth year as head coach of Colby field hockey. During her tenure at Colby, Godomsky has worked to rebuild the field hockey team. She has focused her efforts on recruiting, strengthening the schedule and improving the overall competitiveness of the program. Godomsky has coached three regional All-Americans and five Academic All-Americans. She has also been responsible for the reconstruction of Crafts Field, which has enabled Colby to boast one of the best grass playing surfaces for field hockey and women's lacrosse in New England.

Godomsky earned a degree in government in 1991 from The College of William and Mary. While an assistant coach at trinity College from 1991-1993, she earned a master's degree in history, focusing on the history of women's sports in the United States, Title IX and gender equity. Godomsky also serves as the head coach of women's lacrosse.
