All-American Wendy Bonner '05

Wendy Bonner '05 (Lexington, Mass.), right, became the first Colby field hockey player to earn All-American honors three times. Bonner earned second team National Field Hockey Coaches Association honors after her senior season in 2004. She made the third team in 2002 and 2003.

Katie Taylor '98 was the first All-America selection for the Mules in 1996 as a defender.

Bonner was also a Regional All-America selection in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference first team in those three seasons. Bonner has been among NESCAC scoring leaders the last three years. Bonner is Colby's all-time leading scorer with 44 goals and 14 assists for 102 career points. Her 15 goals in 2003 broke Colby's school record that she had previously shared at 12. Bonner is one of the more versatile athletes at Colby and also stars on the women's basketball and softball teams.
