Colby Clicks, Pounds Hamilton

CLINTON, New York - The Colby football team got contributions from just about everyone who suited up Saturday afternoon. In a 48-14 victory over Hamilton, the Mules ran the ball for 226 yards with ten different players and threw for another 165 yards to six different receivers.

Senior captain Thomas Keblin (Bolton, Mass) led the rushing attack with 103 yards and one TD. Dan Noyes (Silverlake, NH, '02) was the top receiver for the Mules with four receptions for 60 yards and a TD. In his best game of the season, quarterback Matt Smith (Middlebury, Vermont, '00) threw for 165 yards on 12 completions without giving up a sack or an interception.

The Hamilton ground game was led by Chris McCarthy who had 20 carries for 81 yards. The Continental air attack was led by Charles Martin's 48 yards on 3 receptions.

Sophomore kicker Keith Jonassen (Albion, Maine) was perfect on six PAT's and two field goals from 26 and 22 yards respectively.

Colby improved to 2-3 while the loss dropped Hamilton to 0-5.
