Brunswick, Maine The Colby College golf team finished 8th in a field of 13 at the Bowdoin Golf Invitational this weekend. Husson College won with a score of 648. This was the first competition of the season for the Mules as the group shot a combined 710 in the two-day tournament. Scott Bixby (01, La Jolla, Ca) led the Mules with a score of 174 (91, 83). Bixby was joined by Matt Simard (02, Auburn,Me) with a 177 (88, 89),Andre Picher (01, Ontario, Canada) with a 182 (95, 87), Greg Dunphy(04,Allendale, NJ) with a 182 (92, 90), and Jake Hobart (03, Poway, Ca) with a 185 (90, 95).
