The Colby golf team won the CBB Tournament over Bates College and Bowdoin College as junior Greg Dupuy (Allendale, N.J.) took medallist honors in that tourney with a score of 80.

Dupuy also finished fourth overall at Colby's Sid Farr Invitational with a 74.

The Mules finished third out of nine teams at the Maine-Farmington Invitational. First-year golfer Stephen Planas (Rockland, Maine) and senior captain Jake Hobart (Poway, Calif.) had top 10 finishes in that tourney.

Coming off a strong finish in 2001, the Colby coed golf team looks to pick up where they left off and put together another solid season in 2002.

Coming home to the picturesque Waterville Country Club for the Sid Farr Invitational is one of the high points of the season. The popular tournament draws some of the best golfing competition in New England. Colby always put in a strong performance at the tourney and hopes to continue that tradition once again.

The NESCAC Championship and the Colby Classic are two of the other highlights on a very busy and competitive schedule. A solid nucleus of returning players include senior captain Jake Hobart (Poway HS/Poway, Calif.), Justin Ossolinski '03 (Sumner HS/Gouldsboro, Maine) and Greg Dupuy '04 (Northern Highland HS/Allendale, NJ), who will combine with some first-year players to make an immediate impact and make Colby a threat at every tournament in 2002.
