Rob Quinn, an All-America midfielder from Westfield State College, begins his third season as head coach of men's lacrosse at Colby. In 2002, Quinn led the Mules to the NESCAC Tournament championship game and the team finished the season ranked 17th in the country. Quinn received NESCAC and NEILA (New England region) Coach of the Year honors.

Quinn previously coached at the University of Hartford (1990-92), perennial national power Roanoke College (1992-94), and New England College (1995-2001), compiling an 80-25 record. At NEC he turned a struggling program into a national tournament participant, was honored twice as Coach of the Year, and won three conference titles. He has served on the Division III All-America selection committee and the Division III National Tournament Advisory Committee. Quinn surpassed the century mark in wins in 2002, and his career coaching record stands at 110-64. Quinn was inducted into the Westfield State Athletics Hall of Fame in fall 2002.

Jon Hunt joins the Colby staff after being a two year assistant coach at Quinnipiac University. He also spent one year as an assistant coach at Daniel Hand High School in Madision, Conn. Hunt has a bachelor's degree from Plymouth State University.

Hunt played as a midfielder for Plymouth State and finished his career with 35 goals and 25 assists. He won the Plymouth State Male Athlete of the Year Award in 2000. Coach Hunt also coached the NEILA East/West Senior all-star game in 2003 and will return for 2004.
