#16 COLBY DEFEATS CONNECTICUT COLLEGE IN WOMEN'S LACROSSE 12-6

New London, Conn.

Junior Ally King (West Hartford, CT) scored two goals and assisted on four others leading 16th ranked Colby 12-6 win over Connecticut College this afternoon.

King had four of her six points in the first half helping the White Mules build an 8-2 lead at the half. Sophomore Kate Wheeler (Baltimore, MD) added two goals and two assists for Colby who won its seventh in a row and improved to 8-3 overall and 5-3 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The victory also improved White Mules conference winning streak to four in a row.

Connecticut College dropped to 4-8 overall and 0-8 in the NESCAC. The Camels received two goals from junior Caley Boyd (New Canaan, CT).
