Heidi Godomsky Heidi Godomsky, Head Coach

Heidi Godomsky begins her 10th season at the helm of Colby's women's lacrosse team. During her tenure at Colby, Godomsky has worked to build the lacrosse team into a nationally recognized program. So far she has been highly successful. Colby finished as one of the four best teams in NESCAC in both 2001 and 2002, earning back-to-back semifinal NESCAC tournament appearances. Colby has made five trips to the ECAC tournament (NESCAC no longer competes in the ECAC tournament), including a trip to the championship game in 2000. Godomsky has coached eight IWLCA All-Americans, including six in the last two years, and 12 IWLCA Regional All-Americans. Godomsky earned a degree in government in 1991 from The College of William and Mary, where she was a four-year member of the college's NCAA Division I lacrosse program. She played defense wing on teams that captured South Atlantic Conference titles in 1988, 1989, and 1991 and a NCAA tournament spot in 1988. Godomsky's coaching career began at Trinity College, where she was an assistant field hockey and lacrosse coach. While at Trinity, Godomsky earned a master's degree in history with a focus on the history of women's sports in the United States, Title IX, and gender-equity.

Marcia Ingraham, Assistant Coach

One of the top players in Colby lacrosse and field hockey history, Marcia Ingraham begins her first season as assistant coach with the Mules.

Ingraham was a two-time All-America selection as a lacrosse player. She earned second team honors as a senior and was on the third team after her junior year. Ingraham, a three-time Regional All-America selection, finished second all-time in scoring with 146 goals and 55 assists for 201 points.

The Colby women's lacrosse most valuable player in 2002, Ingraham played in the STX North/South Senior All-Star game. She earned All-NESCAC first-team honors after her senior year.

Ingraham is the all-time leader in Colby field hockey history with 29 career defensive saves. A member of the Colby Class of 2002, Ingraham started all 59 games in which she played and ended her career with 29 goals and six assists for 64 points.

Ingraham was a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Regional All-America selection after her senior season. She also played in the NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Team and was a NESCAC first-team all-star.

The Colby most valuable player the last two years for field hockey, Ingraham earned Regional All-America honors in three of her four years.

Ingraham is also an assistant coach for head coach Brenda Beckwith and the field hockey team.
