Men's Team

Eric Fitz '04, Colin Witherill '04, and Adam St. Pierre '04 will lead the men's nordic ski team in 2002-03, and all three will live and train in Bend, Ore., for the summer. Fitz and Witherill both placed in the top 25 of the Eastern Champions Race at Middlebury last year and earned NCAA qualifying points. Fitz was also a first alternate for the Junior Olympic Team for the second year in a row. Evan Allen '05 and Aaron Blazar '05 will also return. New additions to the team are Kris Dobie '06, a top-level racer and former Junior National qualifier, and Ezra Dore-Hark '06, who spent last year training and racing in Finland.

Women's Team

Anna Carvill '03 and Anna Carlson '03 will return for their fourth and final year of Colby skiing. Carlson had a solid season last year placing just out of the NCAA qualifying points. Carvill competed in Bozeman last year for the United States Skiing Nationals. Also returning are Sarah Getchell '04, the top cross-country runner for the White Mules, and Jordan Burke '04 and Camille Dugan '04. Kim Neiderberger '03 will be back from a year abroad in France and new faces for the Colby nordic ski team include Hillary Easter '06 from Jay, Maine, who is a Maine state champion in running, and Alex Jospe '06 from Pittsford, N.Y., who qualified for Junior Nationals last year.
