Returning from a sabbatical, Tracey Cote is in her ninth year as head coach of the men’s and women’s Nordic ski team. During her sabbatical last season she coached some of the top junior athletes in the nation on the United States Ski Team’s J1 Scandinavian Trip to Norway. After returning from Norway, Cote coached New England’s top skiers as they won the 2005 Junior Olympics in California.

As an undergraduate she attended Northern Michigan University, where she was an MVP runner on a nationally ranked cross-country team, the ski team captain, and an NCAA Division I national qualifier. Cote attended graduate school at the University of Wyoming and earned a master’s of science in health education. Still racing for Atomic Ski USA, Cote competes in her time off from coaching. She is also an avid summer adventure racer and has competed on more than one professional team.
